Book Club Favorites: Novel Storytelling Week
The Prophetess, by Jill Eileen Smith.
This book is about a woman named Deborah. She was a very influential woman in the times of the judges in the Bible. Deborah was a prophet of the God of the Israelites, the fourth Judge of pre-monarchic Israel, counselor, warrior, and the wife of Lapidoth according to the Book of Judges. This book is powerful because it reminds me of how God holds no place in his heart for a certain gender or person. This book just empowered me and reminded me that no matter what age you are or language God will choose you no matter what you've done in your life.
God will use your life as your greatest testimony good or bad and as we've seen in the Bible even based on the story of Moses and Joseph God use their stories to help others and to bring his 12 tribes together.
As young people, we need to be strong, obedient and we need to walk in God's light, his spirit no matter who we are or where we come from. I hope that this book can help you in your life and to bring you peace in the situation you may be going through and I want to thank you once again for joining me on this book experience.
